That Time Again

Well the first mention of a Government shutdown has been heard. Trump uttered he'd be willing to do it so to get needed changes at our borders.

While I feel pretty good the he wouldn't like Obame spend far more to make sure "We" bastards don't enjoy "our" monuments etc.. I do hold hope that our President finally makes it a real shutdown, one that pain is shared by all and not just us not in the group taxpayers.

How is it a shutdown if you "government workers" are fully made holes as soon as agreement is found. That's just a paid vacation in my books. And the vast majority are kept working. Like most things in government it's the last who should pay the price that does, our military whom most likely need their pay to remain continuious. Underworked/overpaid gray suits or slacks can handle a delayed check or two.

I'll be watching and I hope Trump hits then where it hurts, false consequences will never teach a<b> lesson.</font></b>

 A shut down hurts the residents of DC far ore than it does much othe the rest of the country. All the govt people treat it as a holiday, but all the biz people in DC lose their daily customers. Any where else it isnt nearly the prob it is made out to be, as all essential services continue. Analmost empty threat, that actually allows the pols to go home & campaign more! Now, if it meant the pols HAD TO STAY IN DC and suffer in the heat in bldgs that are not considered essential, am betting they would stop this car..p and do what they wee elected to do ! Maybe it they shut off the a/c in the White House it would help ??
