Fake profiles

what is the purpose of my making a profile? they are pretty obvious too. 1 maybe 2 photos usually near perfect and the profile is worded like a robot wrote it duh. I just don't understand the reasoning for them

 A profile can tell people something about you that wouldn't be evident from a picture, such as what you're like, what you think about, what you're looking for on this site. Sure, photos might offer some clues to some of the above, but better to describe it clearly.

I like reading profiles, and would read them here if I were a gold member.

 They are bored or a troll. I have seen some go all out-even have a star studded blog. The kinda time and energy- I don’t have🤦🏽‍♀️
