To Marry or Not?

Most of adult life I envisioned myself free. Maybe not single but attached with a certain level of commitment. Maybe polyanourous.
Life plays odd and funny tricks on us, some are open and intercept the signs while others just walk right past them.

Months ago things were different. Different in that I had some sense of a stable future.
Months ago stress levels were decreased, I was in constant chronic pain due teeth pain and the support I had complained about it. dentist tried saving teeth but they need root canals. Wow, such a positive environment I had with partner. teeth issue was resolved but the pain was intensified due medical conditions.

mind changed on a few things after dealing with no support and seeing how I was treated.

Do you think you need get married just go fit into society or fill that void to ensure you do not feel inadequate? Long ago marriage was for status, I guess it still is for some.

 Yeah I agree with Budyn7, I'm nearly 50, and never been married, I don't think I have ever been in love with anyone, I just bumble along.. I like to be on my own, but I do get bored and sometimes lonely... hence spending too much time on here!
I used to think I was an oddball, but most of my friends marriages have collapsed, and they are now on 2nd and 3rd.. I don't need that crap either.

 Marriage is a joke there is not that many pros to it and more cons. Probably become a thing of the past in the recent future.
