IM chat

Does anyone have any problems with people not responding to IM chat. It would be nice if you are trying to connect with someone and they are not interested to say so, not just ignore you. Especially if there status says they are looking to meet or make friends and what not. What do you all think?

 I agree with both of you. I think IM may work off and on and a lot of people are just rude.

 Or, perhaps they are already chatting with someone........I don't leave a chat just to respond to others coming in. That would be rude I think.

I can see your point of view too. I just find it frustrating that after five or six attempts, not one will respond at all.
