Goddess Cybele and transsexual Galli

This is in tribute to the ancient and original mother goddess of heaven and earth, Cybele. She was known to be worshiped by devoted priestesses. These priestesses were among the last to be murdered by the matriarchy of orthodox christianity. These sacred priestesses of the temple were transsexual. The initiate into the mysteries of Cybele would be castrated in the climax of a raucous ceremony dedicated to Cybele. They did this not to be castrated gay men but to live as the women they were. These priestesses had many sacred temple duties. One highly overlooked function was that of Sacred Temple Priestess. These transsexual women were the healers who would take care of the Roman soldiers after they would return from battle. They not only performed sacred tantric sex rituals with these soldiers but they comforted them when the nightmares of battle would rage and PTSD would envelope them out of nowhere. I suffer from battle born PTSD. I know the comfort I felt at the hands of the nurses. The last temple to Cybele was shut down and destroyed in the 100's AD.

The attached photo is of the goddess' consort, a bisexual man who castrated himself out of love for Cybele. This statue is from circa 2,000 B.C.. He is shown wearing the feminine dress of the castrated transsexual Galli sacred temple priestesses.

May your silver light shine on us all, Mother.
