Do you lie about your age?

Do you lie about your age? This post may seem a little insensitive, however I really am curious. I can only judge by the male profiles I see on here since I don't check out the ladies. It just appears to me that a lot of the profiles I see show men who's pictures make me think they are much older than the profile states. Is this the case? Why is that? What happens when you actually meet someone in real life and they see that the age doesn't match. I guess this just makes me a little sad that people feel they have to be deceitful on this site to get attention. Is it really that important? |

Why lie? I have made it this far, and I have always looked older than I am. Hell, I was being offered senior discounts before I turned fifty.

Yes some lie. My wife and I met a guy that was at least 20 years older than he said. He was close to 80 in reality. Very frustrating.

Yeah, why lie, there are plenty of people of all ages on the site. Just be honest!

I always used to have my right age. Recently changed it to hopefully cut down on the messages i get. The young ones who "love older women " and the other young ones who think my age is desperate so wrongly think they have a chance with me. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

I have seen many a woman's profile pic where her stated age and her looks did not match. You look old for your age, is not good to have thought of you. I don't lie about my age and see a lot of reasons that doing so will not end we... If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

Ha ha I know for myself I have always looked older than I was, when I was about twenty many people thought I was in my mid thirties. Today at 53 I am mistakes for sixty five to seventy Anything worth doing is worth doing right

I used to shave off 10 years from what showed next to my profile name so as not to limit other’s searches, but told my actual age in my profile description. At that time I was more open to just finding someone to hook up with. Seems many thought over 50 was very old. Now that I’m over 60 I don’t do that anymore. I also am not interested in men much younger than me. I am not all that interested in just hooking up anymore either. I have always only posted current pictures. I would hate to actually meet someone and have them think, omg she’s so much older than her pictures.

i dont understand the lying that goes on on the site...in general. Ugh. I can see keeping things private.....before there used to be a " prefer not to say" answer. Now...people say....and say a lie. Nope....my stuff is all accurate.....well almost all of it..lol~~

No. The only lie is to adjust my birthdate by a few weeks instead of providing the 'exact' date. The month and year are correct. Ask me again in 10 years about age-lying ….
