How can anyone on here have X thousand "friends"??

Amazing ladies on here have thousands of so called friends - anyone with more than a handful cannot be serious about meeting up, and is most likely getting cheap ego boosts out of it, and lives in a fantasy world ?

 well i make acquaintances not friends ..friends are people who interact with me every day face to face, acquaintances on here or anywhere i dont actually meet them are people i chat with..as a gold member i make acquaintances with people to chat with about everything sometimes about their State or country /Province...so its not all about meeting them just to have sex sometimes its about the chat...I talk to people all over the world ...i am in a wheelchair most of the time...it is my getaway from that life...

 This isnt face book. The friends are not the same. Friends can be for points or to be able to access someone's profile to be able to read blogs or look at pictures. It has nothing to with meeting up etc.

 I don’t correlate friends here with meeting up. Some of my AF F friends live on the other side of the world. I only meet men who live near by me.

When I accept a friend request that person can then follow my activities...like when I post a blog.

 See! You just misunderstood the whole premise here.Next time take a look to see if they are all local to the individual.If they are, ask them you might be surprised
to find that is just on one of their profiles!
