Scars and Imperfections

I died, about a decade ago now. Don't worry, I got better. LOL. But in order save my life (or bring me back) the doctors had to slice me open and gut me like a fish. left scars.

For a long time I always wore a shirt, even when swimming. Self conscious about my scars, about my body. Even here and now posting up a pic, I'm somewhat hesitant.

Still, somewhere along the way, I stopped caring. I've been with women have been so self conscious about their bodies they would never remove their shirt. Which I can totally respect, though encourage otherwise. When they did, they had nothing to be ashamed of.

Nobody is perfect. Nobody's body is perfect. Hell, I'd be pretty self conscious if I was with someone was close, cuz heaven knows I am not. The world and society tries tell us anything less than perfection is hideous, but 's not. The imperfections add depth and beauty. Screw all the nay-sayers. Be beautiful. Know you are beautiful. And be with someone will thoroughly appreciate every inch of your wonderfully imperfect body.

Here I am in all my scarred belly glory. took a while, but I'm good with it now.

You see light dappling on the water and forget the deep, cold dark beneath.

Do your imperfections make you more beautiful? Is it something you don't even think about anymore?

I wrote about this topic last year, Never Be Ashamed Of A Scar based on my personal experience.
I used 'to' feel obliged 'to' warn a potential partner about my scars. However, no one ever mentions them nor asks me about them. Although most have faded, they will always remind me of where I have been. If someone can’t see past them, they aren’t the type of people I want to be around.

Totally true. If someone can't see past our scars and imperfections to who we are, then perhaps they aren't someone I want to be with anyway. LOL.

I am self conscious of my scars and imperfections. Yet yours would deter me.
I admit to being very curious about other peoples life marks. I had a lover born with heart issues and he had multiple scars from them cracking his chest surgically. I asked permission and spent almost an hour tracing his scars with my fingers ... then again while teasing his cock with my other hand and mouth. New memories for him of womens responses to his scars.

I think that would be an alright memory to have. Ha ha ha. And like you, I'm more curious about them than turned off, at least in others. Still a bit self conscious. But I guess that's human nature.

I have a few scars and carry extra weight. I'm a bit self-conscious about it, but overall I find that men don't freaking care once my lips are wrapped around their cock. LOL (either set hee hee)
