Pic Requests and Truthfulness.

"Happy New Year" to all those I know and don't. Opportunities abound on this site for meeting others with like interests. However, the major stumbling block for me has been pic requests. I understand physical attraction as well as the next person. With my being such a private person and after having had several attempts at being "cat-fished", I will never allow for any pics due to the possibility of their use in any nefarious activities to defraud others. I've been told that my profile has been used quite a lot. You can all be assured that the text of my profile is me and are my true thoughts and feelings. You can also be assured that my self-description is accurate. Now, can I be sure that your text and pics are really you? Despite my having met people on this site that weren't quite what their profile text and pics suggested, I've never waivered in my wanting to meet anyone. I've even offered to meet in a public place for their perusal, mostly, to no avail,. I can tell you that those women that were brave and adventurous enough to meet me based on just my description, email and phone conversation("thank you") were certainly not disappointed. This is a new year. WHO'S GOING TO BE ADVENTOUS ENOUGH TO GET THIS GOODNESS?
