Well my stay in the UK is coming to an end ,
off back home next week for xmas, and will be staying.
It was an eventful time here , that I have only really enjoyed in part,.
Will add a few of my inpressions of my homeland soon

No Time

Hi there all,
I had not had much time to blog , but I have just posted a few on our "other" blog just for fungangbangcple.
Wednesday night I will be flyng home for a few days and hopefull will also be able to meet up with a few new and old Local Adult Companion friends at the weekend , we'll just have to see if we can fir it all in .

I'm off back to England tomorrow, I'll miss home not only because of Mrs GB, but because how quiet it is here.
During my time in England, in the town where I am,there has been what to me seems like a crime wave, but I am assured is really normal.
One young teenage girl was found dead, by some lockups, several junkies also found their way to a better place, countless robberies in broad daylight near the main shopping center,several mobiles stolen from passers by, muggings, 31 people arrested in a vice clean up, several teenaged junkie hookers, 1 dealer ,and the rest "respectable" kerb crawlers.
What drives a "respectable" man to want to have sex with a teenaged , let alone a junkie in the first place?.
As I said , all these events normally happen in a year in the biggest town nearest to where I live, these all happened in days.
Hardly a day goes by, when the TV news does not report yet another stabbed or gunned down in the street, disco, or as happened in London recently in MacDonald's.
I am told of "No Go" areas in my town where no estate agent will even view a house, or attempt to sell one there, and where it is not safe even for the police after dark.
I now know of the pubs where it is safe to drink, and those where the teenie gangs hang out, where to park my car where it will be safe and cared for(at a cost)what streets to avoid after dusk, (to many hookers dealers etc).
At home, I have left my flat door open for days , and my car unlocked, with no problem.we have virtually no graffiti at all etc etc.
What a change a few hours in an airplane can make to ones life.
And now I want to bring your attention to a blog from a nice lady ,I often chat too, that brings attention to another of todays problems, and how we all can do a little to help stop it , pop over and say hello , and visit the site.

Back Home Again

Well after four weeks or so back in the mother country, I'm back for a long weekend.
Can't say I'm not glad to be home as I missed Mrs GB, although she did also fly in for a weekend visit.
At least I can eat some decent bread, and have a decent coffee.
Oh the joys of english plumbing , everytime someone goes to the loo, or washes their hands , you can hear the tank filling up for the next hour, and the water pipes vibrating.
I am now nicely installed in my little office, and watch all the young mothers go passed twice a day, taking the to school and the nursery.
I also have my own little Girl Friday to take care of me, she makes me coffee, keeps my desk tidy, reminds me of my appointments, puts away all the files I leave lying around, and she knows her way around a pc.
Being back in England takes a bit of getting used to, and I miss some of the comforts of home.
I'll try and write about some of the differances in later blogs.
Next wednesday I will be back in my office.

We had a wonderful weekend in Holland, apart from a very pleasant evening with an old friend from our last visit, we kept very much to ourselves, no adventures, just us enjoying each others company.
The reason? I had a call on Wednesday, and confirmation on Thursday, that I will be spending sometime in the Cotswolds again, no idea how long, but we will be seperated for a while, so we made good use of the little time we had before I leave.
I will be on a plane tonight, and not sure how long I will be staying. During the week in the Cotswolds, and weekends visiting friends and family in London.
Looking forward to meeting some On-Line friends in the flesh, for those that want to 
No idea if I will have time to be on-line during the day, at night probably not .

Hum, so much going on in Blogland ,
have I lost the plot?.
A dusty ol man from north of London, has removed the bodies of two Australian porn stars from a London morgue, with the intent of reserecting them for evil deeds some time in the future. In the mean time they are all going to be living in a trailer park with Dave from Yorkshire, who is being evicted from his luxury home, and just happens to be the fat Guy with a laptop?
Have I got that right, or is this only the begining of yet another Double Hoax.

Fakes and more Fakes.. Much Ado About Nothing

Every now and again, about every 6 months or so actually, a disaster hits Blogland.
They normally fall into one of three categories.
1. Two bloggers end up having a fight about what was said, or not said.
Verbal abuse follows, friends line up on each side, far more verbal abuse follows. Blogs about the "offending Blogger" appear, more verbal abuse.
Hundreds of "I knew there was something about him/her/them" comments appear out of nowhere.
The biggest supporter of one side, or the other's blog moves up the list of most watched blogs, because of aforesaid comments. 
One blogger leaves vowing never to return again, some friends also leave in protest and support (but only to return shortly afterwards, some with a new handle) Happening at the moment
Been there, done it, regretted it, and won't do it again.
2. "Famous" (normally someone who appears on the most watched blog list)Blogger decides to get a life, and concentrate on the more important things in life and gives up blogging.
Hundreds of wailing fans/groupies swear eternal love and threaten to throw themselves on the funeral pyre if the said Blogger really leaves.
(note) only very few of these actually know the aforesaid Blogger at all, although many may have exchanged mails and/or phone calls. Less than a handful have actually met him/her although hundreds claim true love or real friendship.
(Sometimes also happens in connection with category 1)
3. Someone goes to a great deal of time and trouble to "Expose" a Fake Blogger. Normally also by some strange coincidence someone on the Most Watched Blog List
Shock! Horror!, outraged blog after blog follows, links to other support blogs flood cyberspace, hundreds of "I knew there was something about him/her..... comments follow.
"Fake" blogger retaliates, more support blogs appear, battle lines firmly drawn. even more "He/she is the best friend I ever had" comments appear out of the woodwork, verbal abuse follows verbal abuse, until the "fake" Blogger finally disappears, only to reappear un-noticed with yet another new handle. Also happening at the moment.
Some "Normal" bloggers give up in despair , others ignore it all and keep on blogging, and some don't give a shit anyway.
We all have a "handle" that we hide behind, we don't want our whole neighborhood to know we are on here, do we?, nor do most want to be ridiculed by friends by blogs that we have written, so we "Fake" it by having a handle, so we can express ourselves freely.
Who cares who or what is behind a handle or a blog,if it is well written it's a good blog, and some of the most popular blogs wouldn't get a look in, in "real" life.
I remember a few years ago a very popular blog caused a stir in Britain , it was a Dairy of a , was a brilliant blog, but nobody ever knew who was behind it, it could have been a real , or a politician, or a well known lawyer , or a bored housewife, who really cares it was good reading .
Can Keithcancook really cook? or does he throw any old rubbish into the microwave?
Is [blog Expatbrit49] really an ex pat with a large following of female lovers, or is he an unemployed ex Dagenham docker with a large collection of porno pics?
Does [blog freelove999]really practice Free Love?
Does GoddessoftheDawnreally live on Venus, or she really head of IBM Europe ?
Time to grow up folks, the internet is a great communication tool, but you NEVER really know anybody from the net until you have looked into their eyes, watched their lips move, and observed their body language.
Only two handfuls of ppl have ever met us from Local Adult Companion, and know our first names,less than a handful of others know our telephone number or address. We could be anybody, the nice neighbours, or your worse nightmare.
Enjoy the blogs, but don't read to much into them or to those that write them.

We are getting ready and looking forward with excitement for our long weekend away in Holland. looking forward to a night of drinking laughing and general enjoyment on Friday with a nice lady we met on the Euro blog meet.
The rest of the time is not yet planned,except a few nice ppl have offered to meet, lets just see what happens.

Red Red Wine.............

As the sports club where we normally meet on Fridays is closed for the hols, we drove off down into the valley to another town where the "Old Gentleman's" football team, had a huge tent up in the town park, for a Wine Festival.
Amazing, apart from the friends we normally meet, we met other friends, family, local doctors, dentists , just about everyone.
The atmosphere was great despite the rain , and by 10 o' clock in the evening the tent was full, a local entertainer was providing the music, and everyone was singing along to the same old songs.
Then I noticed as Mrs GB began to sing quite loudly, that is was not only the tent that was full, she was too!
So after a while I thought it was time to take her home. My lady likes good wine, but after a glass or two too many, she always get exceedingly randy, and loses the few inhibitions that she has.
Needless to say what happened after we got got home is really for our other blog, and in the morning she didn't remember to much about it.
