I have been a member here twice before.
Once in 2004-2005 when I was stationed in Texas (and DAMN it was fun back then!) then again a few months ago here in NoVa (DAMN that was so much anti-fun!).
Now I'm back for a third run, and after awhile of looking at profiles, I have noticed something. There are ALOT of women out there that are selfish.
Okay... before you light the pyre under my feet, hear me out.
a- I don't view men's profiles, so I can only speak about profiles from women
b- that statement probably (most likely!) holds true for men as well
c- now that I have your attention, you may actually read the rest...
So why do I think everyone is selfish? (yes, it IS an over-generalization, but that doesn't make it any less accurate. Hell, I fall into that category too!)
Here's why:
How many profiles have YOU looked at and said "Nope", "No way", or "Not on your life, honey!"? At which point you happily skip along to the next profile...
Don't we have real life friends (or even other online friends, here or somewhere else!) that would be a really good match for one of the profiles we passed over?
Has anyone here ever considered THIS as an option?
Maybe next time instead of "Nope", "No way", or "Not on your life, honey!", the thought of "Wow, not for me, BUT... he would be FANTASTIC for Barb." or "Okay, she's not MY type but I bet Bob from the bowling team would really like her."
Why not give Barb or Bob a call... Share the profile... Make a friend happy!

Interesting idea addition here:
If Couples out there are looking for other Couples, and you found an otherwise acceptable Single, wouldn't introducing one Single to another Single possibly make that Couple you had been seeking all along?
Just a thought...
