I find myself cornered by your love, resentfully gathering the ragged, raging remnants,
Of the self I used to admire, assured beyond a doubt that it's the only worthy penance,
The only admissible action for the piece of me that betrayed us all, at best,
So while you gaze at me so lovingly, I scream inside longing for the rest,
Of the soul that I ripped apart, knowingly, awake and aware of the cost,

Why must you found me when all my spirit had been hidden
Looking out from my shadows at the light my life's forbidden
More torturous than any frenzy of an bloodied cuts is the thought of what I've turned away

While loudly and stridently securing the space left in my bed

Weaving in and out of shadows in the crevasses of deep solitude
I come across a teeming vast array of shining facets arrayed in an utter multitude
Of pieces, of memories, of broken parts of self
That i hadnt yet looked upon or surveyed in any sense but by stealth.
These parts portraying themselves in an array like a swath of cemetary stones
I dont know when these monuments transformed themselves into the bones
And knitting together the broken cadavers that have subsumed the lost
Waiting portions of my old self are the great threads of strength that the jagged bits have now embossed

The tears of the damned flow swift and red
They say for their souls and those of the dead
But people turn away when the damned cry their tears
For they see in those eyes the realization of their fears.
Those eyes so hollow yet still screaming in pain
They stare at the world with only themselves to blame
Those eyes see deep into your soul, finding all your secret shame
Then turn away seeking other sinners as shivers wrack your frame.

Chaos splintered like floating shards of light
Gazing out at the tattered remains of my mind
It looks a bit like 'Bedlam" to my fractured sight
Shadows not hiding in corners, (as of old) but not yet fully defined.
Why do people want Order and Sanity so much?
They all look so repressed, I think I would break
Imploding violently at even the slightest touch.
The constant contact others seem to require, Fuck im not sure how much more i can take....
