Christmas giving suggestions for women

In the spirit of giving as is appropriate for the season, I will humbly offer some general suggestions for what you women might want consider for the man in your life. I fully realize that generalizations are always dangerous as every individual is unique, but I think these suggestions might be useful those who are younger than me.
1. Power tools are always a good thought. If not sure what tool to buy, then consider a gift certificate to your local hardware or big box store, so he can pick one he really wants.
2. If your man is into fishing, hunting, golfing, or playing some other sport then consider a gift to support that activity. Nothing spells love like sitting in a tree stand in late October with boot warmers (or socks) given you by your sweetheart! He will appreciate that you thought of him while practicing one of his favorite activities. GCs work here too.
3. If your guy is a car nut, or crazy about his boat, snowmobile, airplane, tractor, truck or , then please consider an accessory to show that you care about him. A cover for off-season, new container of wax, saddle or leather goods are generally good choices, and a a gift certificate works well here too.
and 4. This one may surprise you, and may be more like a stocking stuffer. Consider writing down all of your sizes on a note card that he can laminate and keep in his special place that includes every measurement you have: bust, waist, hips, inseam, dress size, shoe size, hat size, sock, stockings, ring sizes for different fingers, gloves, etc. so that he does not have to call you from Victorias Secret or some other shop and ask a direct question that gives away the surprise! I realize that your guy may have memorized the batting averages or ERAs of every player on the 2018 Houston Astros but he MAY BE challenged to recall your critical size as needed for a gift. Trust me, he will appreciate this gift!
