Good Morning All-
Well at least to all who, for whatever reason, are still reading this... Unless you clicked it by mistake, then  sucks to be you. You may not exit once the ride begins!
Last chance---Ohhh, too late, here we go!
Let me begin with a bit of information so that we are all on the same page literally & figuratively. I am one of those paid webcam chat models... I am not some brainless bimbo, I am not a scam artist, I do not beg, plead, or guilt men (or anyone else) into paying just for the pleasure of speaking to me. I have morals, I know right from wrong, I prefer to do for myself than to have others provide for me. I have a college degree, which I earned on my own while working 40-50 hours a week at a corporate job & raising a family. I am a real person!
Several years ago, the route I was traveling through life encountered some major pot holes. The subsequent repairs required extensive demolition, detours, & new construction. Additional exit ramps were added & many on ramps were closed to all access....

So, show of hands, how many of you all awoke at 2:00 a.m. to warmly embrace the arrival of Spring? You know, SPRING forward, advancing the (apparently magical) minute hands on each and every clock, watch, radio, VCR, coffee pot, microwave, and any other household appliance, gadget, or invention that just could not have possibly lived up to it full potential and usefulness without what must be the "MUST HAVE" accessory for appliances, if they talk about that sorta thing... I hope the appliances are all very pleased with themselves for bringing this menace upon us and into our very homes. Yes, you know I am talking about you. YES, you, there with your stunningly bright unapologetically precise blink, BLink, BLINk, BLINK, BLINK, BLINKING, retina searing, oblivious to just how ANNOYING YOU REALLY ARE because after all, you are just trying to help remind us that we have been SOOOO wasteful with our precious allotment of Daylight that it's for our own good that we are legally obligated to rein our excessive waste and for the greater good put into action the theory of SAVING DAYLIGHT! Thank goodness we have a Government which cares enough to make sure we have been alerted and have seen the error of our ways. And, good thing for us, our politicians through the years went ahead and issued a couple of different laws with regard to when it is best to practice Daylight Savings and gosh, they are even nice enough to let us know when we can fall back to standard time. That is such a relief isn't it? Because I for one know that I am far too mentally inept to consider that I maybe (j u s t m a y b e) I should be flexible and make my plans, schedule daily stuff based on that massive glowing orb of fire in the sky because I gotta say, it seems like that guy really has it all together. He must be super organized and a total perfectionist because man that schedule is as predictable as (yep, you guessed it) the rising & setting sun!
Ah yes, you are all correct, I am truly gifted with an exceptional natural ability by which a prolific masterpiece of synergy is produced by my superlative "smithing" wit, knowledge, self-conviction, and many many more superior and very important things for which you as a common person understanding will never be possible.*
Just remember, ignorance truly is bliss. For example, I possess intellect superior to most and yet, there still remain questions which even I cannot resolve. Luckily, the unsolvable enigmas are only two in number. 1.) Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday of March. By rising at 2:00 a.m. and springing forward (I'm sure with great joy & giddiness) 2:00 a.m. becomes 3:00 a.m.... Since, we forced 3:00 a.m. into its place, 2:00 a.m. technically does not exist on the second Sunday in March. Why on Earth are we trying to save daylight in the darkness of night during an hour that technically doesn't even exist? 2.) How is it that the small, green, LCD displays on my oven, microwave, and coffee pot have turned against me, siding with my Mother lying in wait for me to fail (even slightly) so they can joyously blink "we knew you would screw it up" like little passive aggressive slightly annoying beacons of disapproval.
*Excellent, you found my notation. Way to Go! Gosh hope you didn't expect me to disclose in the notation that I was just kidding so you could have your warm fuzzy feel good moment. What fun would that be?

New Adventures Same Old Excuses....

Do you ever find yourself feeling so overwhelmed with everything you need to do that you don't even know where to begin? If so, you will understand why I haven't been here to visit, write, or even be social in the last few months. For several weeks (if not months) I've taken the low road, "ignore it and it will go away", "that's someone Else's job", "it's not my fault", and "the world is out to get me" are just a few of the approaches I kind of sorta but not really tried. I mean, come on, sometimes it takes a lot of energy and time to commit to anyone of these approaches (or avoidance's rather...) If I had time and energy to commit to any of these, I could just as easily crawl out of bed, get my butt in gear and take care of all the stuff I'm avoiding. Hmmmm, wait... maybe, just MAYBE I've wasted more time and energy avoiding stuff than it would have taken to accomplish most of the tasks I need to complete. I wonder who I can blame for that? There must be someone at fault here, It's not me!!!!

Hopefully you can appreciate this post for what it is. A (semi) humorous attempt at an inspirational pep talk to myself. I figure I'm special and all that jazz but seriously doubt I'm so darn unique that I'm the only person to ever suffer from a big ol case of whiny ass!
For me, it's time to shake things up a little and try something new.

To write, or not to write...

Alright folks, here it goes... As a growing up, I always thought I would become a writer. From an early age I embraced scifi & horror books. I slowly settled into a great love affair with mob movies. These guys were better than any science fiction or horror movie villain out there. these guys could actually be REAL PEOPLE!!! They did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted, to hell with anyone else! The crazy thing is, some of these guys were made out to be real scum bags, but some how, some way there remained a certain loyalty & code of honor (if you will) with in most families. I think it was the recognition of this moral oxymoron which sparked my fascination with the balance of ones life & honestly, the universe as whole. Still to this day, I will find myself overwhelmed & in awe when I start to see how one action plays part in another action. Much akin to how I would stack dominoes when I was a ... I would work & work to get them just right, getting frustrated when I knocked them down in the process. Ok, so start over again, only have some punk knock them over again. Frustration turning to anger, I start over AGAIN!!! Everything is working, getting excited, almost done now... THAT'S IT, PERFECT!! Finally, I have all of the dominoes set up exactly like I want them. So, what do I then? That's right, I knock em all down. Hmmm, isn't it odd? It didn't matter WHO knocked them down, the end result was always the same. So why did it anger me when someone else did something that created the exact same end result as the action I wanted to take? I'm still working on that one..
