Ford plans stop making and selling sedans and other cars, except Mustangs soon. Only SUVs and trucks are profitable so they are giving up on most cars. Some doubt this is smart if gas prices get too high in the future.
I like Mustang cars. My first redfire Mustang Cobra I bought in July 2002. It was fun and not that reliable. Stick shift on the freeways was not fun. I sold it in 2010 and got a red 2011 Mustang GT in Oct. 2010 with 410 HP. More sensible with a six speed auto transmission. Again upgraded the brakes, and handling, but left the motor stock for the warranty.
Drove that 2011 until July 2019, when I traded it on a 460 HP 2019 red Mustang GT with ten speed auto and upgraded performance pack and magnetic damping. This car did not need any mods to have good brakes and handling. Been a year with no problems driving and only 9,000 miles on it due to the virus shutting down much activity.
I thought about buying the 2020 Shelby GT 500 for the fun of 760 HP, but $90,000 seems like a lot to spend on a car in a recession time. Besides I would probably lose my Driver license for speeding with the Shelby, and I need that for my practice...
I may be crazy, but I try not to be stupid.

Marriage and green cards

Most people who know anything about immigration the U.S. know one of the best ways get a green card is marry a U.S. citizen. True but it is more work than many understand. The process can take years and cost a lot of time and effort.
The immigration folks have seen a lot of real and fake marriages. They are pretty good at telling the real from the fake. The statutes say fake is when you marry for money or other compensation, or mainly get a green card. No where does the statute require the married parties share sex, but the officers think it is part of a real marriage unless the parties are very old and infirm.
One interesting case was an 80 year guy who had a live in 40 year old nurse after his wife died. He was infirm and had prostate cancer so no sex for him. He was religious and did not want his nurse bathe him and help him with intimate acts unless they were married. He left her the house in his will and paid her for nursing care. The case was easily approved as a real marriage.
Usually real married couples are affection sit close together, talk and touch each other often, and act like a couple. They wear wedding rings and have lots of joint pictures and documents. They have joint bank accounts, insurance and credit cards. The fake ones are distant and not affectionate with each other.
The Trump administration is making immigration benefits more difficult achieve. But real marriages with the parties living together is still the best and easiest way to go if the parties are a real loving couple.

Soulmates or hookups?

People come Local Adult Companion with very different goals. Some want a soulmate and a lifetime of monagamy. These may be better off with M*tch or another place.
Some seek random immediate hookups. These are usually disappointed unless the profile is a young attractive girl.
What is in between? FWB or what used be called a love affair.
How is the FWB different from the love affair? The emotional engagement. The jealousy and the intensity. Fwb can last a while but is usually a transitional state.
I my experience just sex for fun is more of a male dream than a female one. Unless she is a commitment phobic lass like Samantha of Sex and the City fame.
Some women do have sex like a man, but not usually good wife material unless the couple are swingers.
No judgment intended say one person should be in a particular category, but usually best if both seek the same goal.
Also over time people often change goals. The 23 year party girl may want marry and be less promiscuous at age 38.

One of the many vaccine candidates is starting the phase test 30,000 volunteers. If this works, we may have some vaccines by year end. The distribution of doses is going be a massive job, but can be done.
The vaccine may mutate and the vaccine may need a booster. But there is some more reason hope for beating this virus.

The WSJ is reporting the new in game for those who cannot bet sports is day trading stocks. A very speculative game. Stock brokers now charge zero for stock trading, and mutual funds too.
After the stock market a recent bottom about March it has roared back about 40% be even. So if you got in long in March you feel smart. Now what?
The last two trading days the market sold off. Now what?
Day trading, options, futures and margin are too speculative for most.
High risk usually leads to high losses. 90% of futures traders lose money. The old joke is the way to make a small fortune in futures is start with a large fortune!
Compound interest over long time is the is the way most make big money. The best place to own stocks is in a retirement account so no taxes until distribution. With a Roth IRA no tax deduction for investing, but no tax on distribution of gains.
Time is your friend. Starting with $1,500 in 1981 you can have more than one million dollars in 2020. Overnight in just forty years...
The easy way is buy a S & P 500 stock index fund. That out performs 90%+ of the managed funds anyway.

James Carville is a Democrat supporter and strategist. He was big with Bill Clinton.
He likes to upset GOP lovers. His latest attack is to suggest that Trump will resign and give up on the 2020 race rather than lose 40 plus states in November. It is too late to resign as the ballot deadlines are past in most places. But it would be a funny moment in the drama of this weird year.
Trump could die, but otherwise he is going to be on the ballot. At this point even a dead Trump would get his supporters votes. Only 30% or so are that crazy. Once the ballots are printed even dead men can win the vote, but cannot serve....

As if you needed another reason vote against Trump in November!
Trump asked the U.S. ambassador the U.K. try get the British Open golf tourney to be moved to his Turnberry golf course in Scotland. That was nixed as a conflict of interest and corrupt. Trump denies it, of course, but many heard the request at the time.
Using public office for private benefits to the official is fraud and bribery. Much like the Ukraine blackmail for military aid that got Trump impeached.

Some normal sized woman consider whether get implants for bigger boobs.
That is a personal choice. From my view point avoiding extra surgery is a good thing. The implants cost money not covered by most insurance unless after a mastectomy. What could go wrong? Every surgery has some risk of an adverse outcome, like death...
There are also complications like scarring or loss of sensation.
Smaller boobs sag less and look younger too.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

About 90% of those with bad cases are over 60 years old, and overweight with some prior health issues. So the risky should stay home while others can work with masks on in public areas. We need decrease the rate of infection and keep the economy moving.

A new worry is trashing the markets. Will the GOP Senate allow the $600 weekly additional unemployment checks stop at the end of July? The House passed the continuation plan two months ago. The Senate has done nothing.
The House will not give employers blanket Covid 19 immunity. Nor will the House agree more tax cuts.
The money for the unemployed is a big deal now. The GOP will get the Herbert Hoover treatment and deservedly so if the checks stop and a Depression begins.
Biden is now going to get the FDR treatment and the electoral landslide if the GOP keeps repeating the mistakes of 1932.
We will see if the GOP knows anything about U.S. history.

I had a partner for various activities including sex until recently. She decided it was not worthwhile for her anymore! There was a health problem as well as her menopause was causing problems.
I try not feel rejected, despite the fact that I am rejected. In this case it really is her and not me.
Maybe it is a male and female thing. Most men I know do not willingly give sex. But I know a number of women who just decided sex is more trouble than it is worth!
Reminds me of the punchline of an old joke: Enough is enough. Such is life.

The White House has done opposition research on Dr. Fauci! Pretty much unheard of in the history of the U.S. To make political points and try to discredit a leading public health expert in the middle of a pandemic that has killed more than 136,000 Americans so far.
Of course Dr. Fauci made mistakes early on when not much was known about Covid 19. But fewer mistakes than Trump who said the virus would magically disappear in April 2020. It is still here killing Americans. Trump was wrong in so many ways. The masks are the best we have to slow the spread of the virus. So dumb bunny Trump makes a macho statement against mask wearing! Idiot!
Taiwan did everything right and has few cases and few dead. We did lots wrong and lead the world in cases and deaths. Trump deserves to lose in November for being so inept and foolish. It is the economy and pandemic that we judge Trump a total loser.
Joe Biden has made mistakes, but he reads, is smart enough to admit he is not God, and is a decent person with empathy. Lets go with Joe!

Donald Trump has been saying since his 20 campaign that he would love release his tax returns the public ― as candidates and presidents do — but he’s being audited by the IRS.
His personal attorney Rudy Giuliani blew that excuse out of the water Sunday when he revealed the audits have been completed.
“ these tax returns have been by and large — maybe not the last one — but all of them have been audited, all of them have either been passed or settled,” Giuliani told Maria Bartiromo Fox News. “There should be some finality in tax returns,” Giuliani added. “We get audited, we make a deal, we and the government, you don’t come after me forever for that.”
The US Supreme Court also said by 7 to 2 Trump cannot withhold the returns from the New York DA and grand jury.
