so this is an attempt at an old fashioned ramble.
What is an Old Fashioned, anyway? Ugh, whisky and other stuff, it seems, and I'm not a whisky dude, more of a gin dude, that juniper smell gets my going for some strange reason, makes me want to walk with the junipers up around Flagstaff.
And I really don't understand why I've been so angry about work lately, just following the crowd, probably, because there isn't any real reason to be angry because the work is really easy, even the screwball things requested of me are super easy to accomplish, even that whole "make available an app that shows what is running in the database and explain what the queries mean" thing is super easy, I mean, this aint rocket science and I've done rocket science, or at least I've done that whole charge of the electron science, and it aint even aim and pull the trigger science and I've done that too, it's just database work and that aint ever difficult.
So, whatever, I need to adjust my attitude or go bonkers.
So, there, pfffffftttttt!
Listening to de Burgh, ready for a revolution after watching the Liam Neeson Rob Roy with Janet, yesterday, and I really believe that one Firefly episode where Mal had the sword fight was paying a bit of tribute to the final Rob Roy sword fight, and really, that Archibald dude had to die at the end, didn't he? I mean, really, the only thing that would have made it better is if had died a bit more slowly, but I could say that about a lot of people, and more than a few I'm sure are wishing I would die a slow death, but hey, maybe I will, just not today, tonight.

Though, I suppose, the seed is all still there just without any way out!
Gave up that way out over 4 years ago and haven't looked back, and haven't looked behind me, all that often, mainly because I don't let people behind me if I can help it, especially at work 'cause I don't trust those people and they really shouldn't trust me, but they do, because I'm such a really nice guy.
And Terry, in that episode of IT Crowd, is drinking a good looking beer from a really long and tall glass. Looks yummy.

2nd day at home, would rather be at work but the headache won't let me, so I'm on the sofa, drinking hot tea and watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In fact, time for another cup of tea.
One thing, almost entirely unrelated, that Ingmar Bergman dude could make a great movie. I highly recommend Through a Glass Darkly, Winter Light, The Silence, Wild Strawberries, and most especially, The Seventh Seal.

I don't think southern fried catfish ever met a Panko bread crumb, and yes, I have corn meal, just don't want to use it, and the turkey bacon in with the first batch of catfish is a tasty success and wee-oh wee-oh wee-oh
and dang, forget the pot holder for an instant and boy, is that handle hot!!!

tried Citadelle a few weeks ago and loved it, much better, to my taste, than Bombay Sapphire, and paired with French Noilly Pratt Rouge and a bit of water, has become my favorite after dinner drink.
