My gold membership expires next week and I don't know what to do. Can I justify feeding my addiction to the entirety of this site for the astronomical amount of money the powers that be are now requiring? Will I be happy just viewing minimal profiles...not seeing all the pictures and not watching videos? Hmmm...pay the mortgage or be able to extensively perv....whatever am I to do?!?!?!

but after talking to A F Fers and reading posts and blogs it's the phenomenon of making a date and not showing up. I would never do it and fortunately it has never been done to me. But, it seems to be a common occurrence. I'd love to hear from those who have done it; however, I'm sure none would fess up. Do you have friends who are guilty? Have they told you their reasoning? Why commit to a meeting if you have no intention of following through or if you change your mind, why not be honest and let the person know before they're sitting in a restaurant or bar, alone...anticipating arrival?

I'm sometimes surprised how
easy it is for me to get naked with people I don't know and

I've come across some men who I find physically appealing and seem to be very nice people but have what I consider a major flaw. Their political views are very different than mine - issues that are very important to me like abortion, immigration, stem cell research, etc.....human rights related things. Knowing this about them makes me reluctant to even meet them. Is it just me, or does someone's political views influence you?

Do you ever feel you have no control over the time you spend on A F F? I often wonder why I feel compelled to sign in. Sure there's usually emails, invites or flirts anytime of day, but they're usually nothing I NEED to read and usually don't even respond. I check blogs, profiles, posts and generally end up carrying on inane conversations in a chat room. When I'm really bored or just feeling the need to do something stimulating, I perv videos or I get on cam (why masturbate alone when you can do it for an audience?).
I assume it's not just me. How many of you are A F F addicts?

I've got to do it....defend the male species. I read so many blogs and posts referring to inconsiderate, thoughtless, unfeeling men. Men who use women, treat them poorly and mislead them with their intentions.
I've been doing an extensive study in my few years at A F F (lost track of the numbers, but they're WAY up there I assure you) and I have not found this to be the case at all. Even if the encounter didn't pan out to be more then a drink, dinner or a one time sexual experience, I have never met anyone who treated me badly, led me to believe they were anything other than who they were and wanted more from me than we discussed prior to meeting. If anything I find men to be overly sensitive, easily hurt and more then willing to discuss their thoughts, feelings and expectations. Additionally, the majority are VERY willing to please.
I think we're all out there looking for something, someone and exploring the sexual side of ourselves. I personally don't know what my wants and needs are...I have a good idea, but hard to say definitively. Because of my own ambivalence, I understand quite well the inability of others to express themselves and what might seem like deception and being intentionally hurtful on their part, is actually caused by indecisiveness and self-confusion. How can you commit or tell someone what you truly want or feel, if you don't even know yourself?

I get so many emails & IM's that ask to get together without additional correspondence, chat or phone conversations. They just don't work guys. Most women need a little more info before they decide to actually meet someone.
